A leader of Hamas military wing killed in Israeli air strike GAZA CITY (AFP) Oct 21, 2004 One of the leaders of the military wing of the radical Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas was killed in an Israeli air strike in Gaza City Thursday night, a Hamas spokesman said.
Mushir al-Masri said Adnan el-Ghoul, one of the chiefs of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, was killed in the strike by an Israeli helicopter gunship on a car in northern Gaza City.
