Two US marines killed in action in Iraq BAGHDAD (AFP) Nov 08, 2004 Two US marines were killed in action overnight in Iraq's restive al-Anbar province, which is home to the rebel cities of Fallujah and Ramadi, the military said on Monday.
The marines were killed sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning, said a spokesman, but did not reveal where the fatalities took place or how.
The latest US deaths bring to 1,126 the number of US troops killed in Iraq since the US-led invasion in March 2003.
