US marine killed in Iraq

A US marine was killed Thursday in an operation in the restive Al-Anbar province in western Iraq, the military said in a statement."A Marine assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force was killed in action today, January 6, while conducting security and stability operations in the Al Anbar province," it said.
