Hezbollah missiles hit close to main Israeli border town KIRIAT SHMONA, Israel (AFP) Jun 29, 2005 Missiles fired by the Lebanese militia Hezbollah Wednesday struck close to the main northern Israeli town of Kiriat Shmona as well as an army position on the volatile border, army sources said. At least three Israelis were wounded in what was described as a coordinated mortar and small-arms attack on an army post at Har Dov, in the disputed Shebaa Farms region, the sources said. There were no reports of casualties in Kiriat Shmona itself. Israeli military sources also confirmed that its airplanes had taken part in a raid on Hezbollah targets in the Shebaa Farms region. Lebanese security sources said around 20 Katyusha rockets and mortar rounds were fired by Hezbollah.
