WASHINGTON, Nov 3 (AFP) Nov 03, 2009 The United States and the EU called Tuesday on Iran to live up to its obligations, President Barack Obama said, as world powers look to pressure Tehran into accepting a UN-brokered nuclear fuel deal. An EU-US summit had agreed on "sending a clear message to Tehran that we want them to be a full member of the community of nations, but that they have to act consistent with international rules and responsibilities," Obama said. He was speaking after talks in Washington with EU Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso, EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, and Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt of Sweden, who holds the EU presidency.
