. Integratation Of ECPINS-W Software Into UK Royal Navy Astute Class Submarines

The Astute Class submarine is the largest and most powerful attack submarine ever built by the UK Royal Navy.

OSI Geospatial announced that its International Systems Operations has successfully completed an engineering design study to integrate it's world leading submarine navigation software into the Astute Class submarine Audacious. The results from this study have led to a prototyping phase that in turn will lead to a production contract from BAE Systems to integrate ECPINS-W software into systems that will be installed initially on Astute boat 4 and one shore base facility.

"This is our first project with BAE Systems Submarine Solutions and we are looking forward to joining the team to begin the integration work for this very important project." said Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO. The Astute Class submarine is the largest and most powerful attack submarine ever built by the UK Royal Navy and we are honored to be part of this exciting program."

OSI is the fleet wide supplier of Warship ECDIS software and Warship AIS systems for UK Royal Navy.
