L-3 Vertex is one of five companies awarded in the program, which includes a one-year base contract and nine, one year options. The total ten-year program allows up to $2 billion to be placed in task orders among all five participating companies.
AVJAMSS will provide maintenance through task orders for multiple fixed and rotary-wing aircraft and weapons systems for the U.S. Army and other Department of Defense (DoD) customers. "We are honored to be selected by the US Army through the AVJAMSS program to maintain DoD aircraft and weapons systems that are critical to protecting our country and interests at home and abroad."
