Endwave Corporation, a provider of radio frequency (RF) subsystems for carrier-class cellular infrastructure, broadband wireless networks, homeland security and defense systems, has announced further details surrounding an agreement briefly mentioned on the company's second quarter 2004 earnings release.

"Today, the company announced the execution of a development agreement with a major US defense contractor to develop RF Distribution and Test Modules for an airborne defense system. This initial $800,000 development contract is deliverable through the first quarter of 2005, leading to subsequent initial production. Design engineering will take place in Endwave's Sunnyvale, California headquarters, with production slated for their Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Diamond Springs, California."

"This development agreement is in keeping with our strong commitment to the Defense and Homeland Security markets and further demonstrates Endwave's leadership in the development and production of complex high-frequency subsystems," said Ed Keible, CEO and President of Endwave Corporation.
