ManTech Contracted For Missile Defense Initiatives Support II Contract

ManTech International Corporation announced Thursday that it is part of the winning team on the US Army Strategic Command's Space and Missile Defense Initiatives Support II contract.

The five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a total ceiling of $229 million and ManTech's share is estimated at $10 million, over the life of the contract. The contract was awarded to a team led by Dynetics, Huntsville, Alabama.

ManTech's Space Systems organization will provide information operations, intelligence/security, and rapid response support for the warfighter.

"We have been supporting the Army Space and Missile Defense Battle Lab since 2000, and now look forward to similarly supporting Space and Missile Defense Command and Army Strategic Command with this new award," said Jay Kelley, President, ManTech Space Systems.

"Under this contract we will provide day-to-day support to the Army Strategic Command, and Space and Missile Defense Command at Peterson AFB, Colo., and dedicated support to Army Space Support teams world-wide."
