American Utilicraft And Metalcraft Agree To Produce Fuselage Sections

Metalcraft Technologies, and American Utilicraft Corporation have entered into an Aircraft Sub-Assembly Manufacturing Agreement for the manufacture of the fuselage and empennage sub-assemblies for the Prototype, First Article and the first 528 Production FF-1080 aircraft.

As a result, construction of the center fuselage section for the Prototype FF-1080 aircraft is expected to begin by mid November of this year.

Both companies are conducting on-going comprehensive meetings finalizing construction and production details for the Prototype aircraft assemblies.

Details of the near-term progress of the construction of the Prototype center fuselage assembly, as well as the construction of the other assemblies, will be the topic of a series of on-going joint-releases by AMUC and MTI that will track the schedule and milestones of the Prototype FF-1080 aircraft - leading to first flight.

Under the terms of the agreement, MTI will provide the following for the initial FF-1080 developmental prototype and first article test aircraft, and 528 production FF-1080 aircraft:

- Manufacture of all of the details for the forward, center, and aft fuselage and empennage assemblies.

- Design and manufacture of all required assembly jigs and fixtures.

- Assembly of the forward and aft sections of the fuselage (including horizontal and vertical stabilizers) at their facility in Cedar City, Utah.

- Technical assistance and supervision for the assembly of the center fuselage at the American Utilicraft facility.

- Technical assistance and supervision for the mating of the forward, center, and aft fuselage, and empennage assemblies at the American Utilicraft facility.
