Through its relationship with Global Marine both Company's will now offer in addition to well-trained and well-equipped Close Protection teams; consulting, security audits of marine and land based facitlities, area intelligence briefs, Key Point security, mobile work-site security, maritime security, indigenous forces training, use of the highest technological equipment normally only available to the Armed Forces and the development of Standard Operating Proceedures (SOP) for Global and Havensec's clients.
Global Marine, a public Company whose primary business is in the oceanographic & historic marine archaeological fields decided that by investing in a 50% joint partner arrangement with Havensec would not only save Global Marine security expenses on their upcoming Persian Gulf operations, but give the Company an opportunity to capitalize on the need for security operations taking place currently in Iraq.
Iraqi security operations were recently reported as consuming in excess of 30% of the funds available for the reconstruction efforts currently ongoing in Iraq; however, in many cases these projects have been delayed due to increase in insurgent activities at these sites.
The new office in the Baghdad "Green Zone" will now give the specialized employees for Global Marine and Havensec an "in Country" presence to work from while completing current assignments and developing additional agreements and contracts for both entities.
Global Marine's offices in South Carolina and Havensec's office in the UK will coordinate Havensec's administrative and technological support. Specialized communication systems have been installed both in Baghdad and Global's headquarters to support direct contact with the teams on the "ground" at all times.

Global Marine aquired Havensec through a combination of cash, supplying and purchasing ongoing high-tech security assets, and the commitment from the Global Marine management to operate and contribute to Havensecs administrative functions.
Including working with the Department of Defence (DoD), Army corps. Of Engineers, and other US Government agencies in reveiwing ongoing contracts, applications for additional agreements, providing End User Certificates, obtaining appropriate security clearences, grants, operational maps, transport of personnal and equipment and to manage to flow of documentation needed to decrease Havensec's administrative "In Country" workload to a minimum, while increasing their contractual profitablibty.
