Multimax is one of four Small Business contract awardees; there are also four Large Business awardees. The contracts have a three-year base period and two one-year options.
The NETCENTS contracts have an estimated combined value of $9 billion. NETCENTS task orders will be awarded following competition among contract holders.
The purpose of NETCENTS is to provide Information Technology; Networking; Telephony; Security; and Voice, Video and Data Communications solutions and products to meet requirements of the Air Force and other Department of Defense components. Other Federal Agencies may also utilize NETCENTS.
The Force Chief Information Officer will soon issue a policy making NETCENTS a "mandatory use" contract across the Air Force, a critical element of the Air Force Information Technology Governance Process.
Among Multimax's teaming partners for NETCENTS are such world-class companies as Dell, Northrop Grumman Information Technology, and Verizon Federal Network Systems. Multimax, Dell, NGIT and Verizon FNS have extensive experience in providing innovative, highest-quality, cost-effective netric-centric solutions to the Air Force and other Department of Defense components.
Each of the other 22 Multimax team members brings highly developed capabilities and experience addressing elements of the broad scope of work falling within the NETCENTS contract vehicles.
"We are delighted to have been selected by the Air Force for a NETCENTS contract," said Carleton Jones, president of Multimax. "We and our team members very much look forward to partnering with the Air Force to satisfy any and all netric-centric requirements for the Nation's war fighters worldwide. We are ready and pledge to do our very best."
