MTI Wireless Edge Introduces 4.9GHz Antenna Range

MTI Wireless Edge Ltd. has launch a new product line of antennas in 4.9-5.1GHz band for applications in the "Public Safety" program in the US launched by the "Homeland Security" administration. The product range includes 17/21/25/27dBi subscriber antennas and 60/90/120 degree vertical and horizontal base station antennas.

MTI is also developing fixed and mobile Omni-directional antenna for "Public Safety" stations and vehicles. The "Public Safety" program is a project launched by the "Homeland Security" administration in the US to develop an improved communication network for the security forces like police departments, fire brigades, etc.

MTI is already supplying this range of antennas to some of the major system providers in the U.S. market and most of the antennas are already commercially available of the shelf.
