$3 Million AuraGen VIPER Line Item Approved in Defense Budget

Aura Systems, Inc. has announced that an AuraGen VIPER (Vehicle Integrated Primary Electrical Resource) line item has been established in the FY05 Defense Budget which starts October 1, 2004. The U.S. Army will direct the application of $3,000,000 for acquisition of AuraGen VIPER systems. The AuraGen VIPER is the ruggedized Military version of the AuraGen Underhood Mobile Power Generator.

"Aura is very pleased that funds have been provided again in the Defense budget for the AuraGen VIPER," said Raymond Yu, Aura CEO. "Aura believes that this is another major step in increasing the contribution that the VIPER already makes with its combat service support of the nation's troops in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

"The VIPER is transforming the concept of mobile electric power generation on the battlefield -- today. We are also very appreciative of the interest in the Viper by Congresswoman Jane Harman (D-El Segundo), and Congressman Jerry Lewis (R-Redlands)."
