Annapolis MD (SPX) Oct 13, 2004
CompuDyne announced that it had total awards of $15.3 million during the month of September, 2004. This total includes $7.7 million of awards previously announced individually during the month.

The Public Safety & Justice group had $7.2 million of awards including the $1.2 million Volusia and $1.8 million Detroit awards announced individually earlier in the month. Awards also included $0.7 million of projects for the company's recently acquired 24Seven fire records product.

Federal Security Systems had $4.9 million of awards including the $4.7 million security project announced individually earlier in the month.

Institutional Security Systems had awards of $1.8 million in September.

Attack Protection had awards of $1.4 million in September, resulting in near record backlogs for this business. Potential for significant additional embassy awards during the balance of 2004 is very good.

The $15.3 million of awards in September is the third highest month of the year and represents a sharp recovery from the depressed level of awards in August.
