Anteon International announced Tuesday that it has been awarded a five-year contract to support recruitment and retention efforts to be conducted under the U.S. Army's new HRsolutions program. This contract, if all options are exercised, has a ceiling value of approximately $118 million.

Under this contract, Anteon will provide information technology, program management and other specialized technical services to support a broad range of U.S. Army HR functions in a number of areas, including:

personnel transition processing; information analysis and dissemination; credentialing; recruitment assistance; and software design, development and integration. Anteon is one of three companies to be awarded a contract to support this program.

"I am very proud of Anteon's role in supporting the U.S. Army's efforts to recruit and retain forces in sufficient quantity and quality to meet the demands of the 21st century," said Joseph M. Kampf, Anteon President and CEO.

"The personnel requirements resulting from the war on terrorism and other operations around the globe, dictate the need for the Army to develop innovative recruitment and retention solutions and to free up more soldiers to perform military operational tasks."

"We are excited about assisting the Army in meeting these critical challenges and are committed to expanding our services to promote the most combat-ready sources for our commanders in the field."
