GSA Awards $18.1M Military Sealift Command Contract To SRA

SRA International announced Thursday that it has been awarded a competitive task order by the U.S. General Services Administration's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM).

SRA will provide a range of IT services to the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC). The performance-based task order, awarded under the Millennia contract, has an estimated value of $18.1 million over one year.

MSC provides ocean transportation of equipment, fuel, supplies, and ammunition to sustain U.S. forces worldwide.

Under this contract, SRA will provide operations and maintenance services for the IT systems which support MSC's afloat operations. SRA services will include project management; administration and management of the afloat network operations center; afloat operations support (to include infrastructure and communications support); hardware and software upgrades and integration; and user training.

The SRA team includes Information Systems Support, and Mercomms Unlimited,

GSA FEDSIM is a program under the Federal Technology Service providing over $1.4 billion per year in large, complex project support to federal agencies. Millennia is a $25 billion multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract offering multi-year IT services to federal agencies worldwide.
