This five-year (basic period with four option years) task order has a not-to-exceed ceiling of $5 million.
As the prime contractor, MTC will establish a Composite Clearinghouse at its division in Warner Robins, Georgia.
The clearinghouse will serve as a central supply source to effectively and efficiently facilitate requisition and delivery of designated composite materials to support field-level maintenance of C-17 aircraft, as well as to supply composite materials for other weapon systems and military services when requested.
MTC, in establishing, maintaining, and operating its clearinghouse, will bring to bear its broad-based technical and logistical experience in supplier research to target and meet the needs of multiple DoD customers.
MTC plans to combine the purchasing power of these multiple customers to achieve quantity discounts and guarantee best value materials and service to each of them.
