Comtech Receives Additional Orders On Its Movement Tracking System Contract

Comtech Telecommunications announced Tuesday that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom, has recently received $4.8 million of orders relating to its Movement Tracking System, or MTS, contract with the U.S. Army Logistics Command.

These orders bring the total orders, including orders for other programs such as Blue Force Tracking, against the contract to-date to approximately $135.1 million.

The orders received are primarily for installation and support activities in Kuwait and Iraq.

Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "We are pleased with the continuing demand by the U.S. Army for this important location, tracking and messaging technology."
