LM Wins Army Contract To Upgrade Patriot Missile

Lockheed Martin said Thursday it would produce 112 Patriot Advanced Capability-3 missiles under a $379 million contract from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command. The contract also includes launcher modification kits, program management and engineering, and spares and other necessary equipment.

Iran Arrests Rebels In Restive Border Regions

Iranian armed forces have arrested four Sunni Muslim rebels near its borders with Pakistan and Afghanistan and three Kurdish rebels close to the frontier with Iraq, a government newspaper said Thursday. The Iran newspaper also said a "large weapons cache" was found.
