French lawmakers late Tuesday approved an increase of nearly two billion euros in defence spending in 2018 - reversing cuts to the 2017 budget that triggered a major spat between President Emmanuel Macron and a top general.

China plans to launch its reusable spacecraft in 2020, according to a statement from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Tuesday.
