Biden says 'I don't think much about Putin,' after Russia war threats

Washington (AFP) Sept 13, 2024

US President Joe Biden on Friday played down warnings of war by Vladimir Putin if Ukraine is allowed to fire Western-provided long-range missiles into Russian territory, saying he didn't pay much attention to the Russian leader.

"I don't think much about Vladimir Putin," Biden said as he met British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House for talks on whether to drop restrictions on Kyiv on using the Western-supplied arms.
