Boeing Defense, Space & Security has signed a teaming agreement with Liquid Robotics for the development of maritime surveillance products and services.

The multi-year deal will focus primarily on solutions for anti-submarine warfare, maritime domain awareness and other defense applications.

"This relationship allows the Boeing-Liquid Robotics team to solve maritime security and surveillance challenges in entirely new and highly effective ways and provides unprecedented capability and value to customers worldwide."

Liquid Robotics is a manufacturer of maritime unmanned vehicles and aims to equip its robotic platforms with sensor payloads. Among its products is Wave Glider, which can gather information on ocean and above-water atmospheric conditions.
