CPI Aerostructures is supplying wing components for Japan's E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft through a contract issued by Northrop Grumman.

The plane is an early warning and control platform used by the U.S. Navy. Japan, through a Foreign Military Sales contract, is acquiring four of them.

Under the contact from Northrop Grumman, CPI Aerostructures will supply structural components and kits for the aircraft's outer wing panel. It will be responsible for component source selection, supply chain management, delivery of kits, and will provide manufacturing and engineering services to Northrop Grumman during the integration of the components into the wing panels.

The contract is worth between $25 million and $30 million.
