Baghdad (AFP) Dec 21, 2008 The Iraqi parliament will vote on Monday on a bill authorising non-US foreign troop contingents to stay in the country after December 31 when the existing UN mandate expires, two MPs said on Sunday. "The Iraqi parliament will vote tomorrow on a bill authorising the government to sign a deal with the non-US nation forces, to determine the time of their departure which should be before the end of July 2009," Ali al-Adeeb, a prominent MP in the Shiite United Iraqi Alliance, told reporters. "Tomorrow the parliament will vote on a bill which will give the government authorisation to deal with the case of non-US troops in Iraq," Ahmad Nour, an MP from the Kurdish Alliance told AFP.
