IT company NCI Inc. has been given a prime position on an indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity U.S. Army award with a ceiling value of $37.4 billion.
The multiple-award from the U.S. Army Communications‒Electronics Command Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services contract features a five-year base ordering period plus a five-year optional ordering period.
Under the contract, NCI will provide access to knowledge-based professional services for programs with command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance C4ISR-related requirements.
"NCI is proud to assume a place on this dynamic and flexible contract vehicle," Paul Dillahay, NCI's president and chief executive officer, said in a press release. "This enhances our ability to provide information assurance, network infrastructure, and design and implementation services to new and current customers to ultimately benefit the warfighters who serve us all."
NCI said the contract may be used to support other Department of Defense and federal agencies. Work by NCI would be in the areas of engineering; research, development, test and evaluation; logistics; acquisition and strategic planning; and education and training services.
The RS3 -- Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services -- contract combines and replaces a number of expiring multiple award contracts, one held by the company.
Additional details of the contract, including the identities of other awardees, was not disclosed.
