N Space Tech, a defence and aerospace startup, has successfully launched its first payload in the SwetchaSAT-Vx series aboard ISRO's PSLV Orbital Experimental Module (POEM-4). This innovative platform, which converts the spent fourth stage of the PSLV rocket into a stable orbital environment, hosted the SwetchaSAT-V0 payload during its deployment from the SHAR centre at Sriharikota as part of ISRO's SPADEX Mission.

The SwetchaSAT-V0 payload has already begun transmitting data, marking a key milestone for N Space Tech. The startup aims to revolutionize communication technology with this maiden mission, showcasing its indigenously developed ultra-high-frequency (UHF) communication system. This technology promises faster and more reliable communication for satellite applications. N Space Tech designed and developed the communication, power, computing, and sensor modules for SwetchaSAT in-house, demonstrating its commitment to advancing India's space capabilities.

"SwetchaSAT, an ultra-high-frequency communication technology demonstrated by N Space Tech on the POEM-4 platform of PSLV C60, paves the way for faster and more reliable communication for many satellite applications. It is also noted that the entire hardware was designed and manufactured by this young startup as part of the Make in India initiative. Such efforts by entrepreneurs would help India become a competitive satellite manufacturing base for the global economy," said Sudheer Kumar N, Former Director CBPO, ISRO.

"The success of SwetchaSAT-V0 marks a critical step forward in our mission to develop and deploy advanced communication technologies. This payload symbolizes months of relentless effort, innovation, and teamwork. Building on this achievement, we are now setting our sights on future missions to demonstrate our capabilities up to the Ku-band," commented Divya Kothamasu, Founder of N Space Tech.

This mission underscores N Space Tech's leadership in ultra-high-frequency (UHF) communication and its ability to deliver precision-engineered solutions. The achievement represents a significant advancement in satellite communication technology, reinforcing the startup's role in shaping India's private space industry.

Founded in 2020 by Divya Kothamasu and Raghuram Kothamasu, N Space Tech specializes in satellite communication systems and aerospace solutions. The company emphasizes indigenous development and engineering, positioning itself as a key contributor to India's defence and space sectors. Its innovative efforts align with national initiatives, helping strengthen India's competitiveness in the global aerospace industry.
