A real-time radio frequency signal detector and analysis capability is being launched by information solutions firm CACI International Inc. The STC Portable Spectrum Analyzer will enhance situational awareness for law enforcement and intelligence community users, the company said, and will be shown at next week's National Technical Investigators' Association Annual Training Conference and Technology Exhibition in San Diego, Calif. "Our new STC Portable Spectrum Analyzer is an excellent demonstration of CACI's ability to fill a specific need in the marketplace with an innovative solution," said John Mengucci, CACI's chief operating officer and president of U.S. Operations. "This comprehensive and fully capable product represents a cost-effective option for our customers who may be working under budget constraints." CACI said the STC Portable Spectrum Analyzer can quickly detect RF signals in a range of frequencies. It is unique in that it can be remotely monitored via wireless or Ethernet controls. Additional details of the system were not disclosed. CACI said the solution strengthens its capabilities in the area of C4ISR, or command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
