High-level Chinese airforce delegation visits Indian airbase
JODHPUR, India (AFP) Jul 02, 2003
A 58-member high-level Chinese airforce delegation Wednesday visited the Jodhpur airbase in the northwestern Indian state of Rajasthan, a defence spokesman said.

The delegation, including eight airforce major generals, was on a goodwill mission, he said.

They were shown the ground facilities and held meetings with their Indian counterparts.

Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee visited China last month, giving an impetus to cooperation between the two countries, who fought a brief but bloody war in 1962.
