Vanunu still has secrets to tell: Israeli defense ministry

Mordechai Vanunu, the nuclear whistleblower who is due to be released on Wednesday after 18 years in prison, "still possesses secrets", Israel's defense ministry said Tuesday.

"Mordechai Vanunu has revealed state secrets about the Dimona nuclear plant. He still posseses state secrets including, some which he has not revealed," the ministry said in a statement.

"The revelations of these state secrets could seriously damage the security of the state," it added.
