EADS to buy drone technology from Israel's IAI: report

 The European Aeronautic, Defence and Space Company will soon sign a contract to buy unmanned drone aircraft technology from Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) for 150-200 million dollarsmillion euros), the French daily Les Echos reported Monday.

The deal is part of EADS's development of a drone programme for the French government, and would represent the largest defence equipment contract between France and Israel since 1967, the report said, without naming sources.

EADS was not immediately available for comment on the report.
