Russia Won't Supply Nuke Subs To India

Russia has offered India a strategic defense partnership to jointly develop high-tech weapon systems but ruled out supplying nuclear submarines to New Delhi. Russia's Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said: We are prepared to transfer high-tech frontier technology to India in a strategic tie-up based on a new pattern of defense cooperation.

The contract is to replace the existing cinetheodolite constellation at the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE), in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, with a modern, automated tracking system capable of testing modern ammunition such as precision guided munitions.
