GENEVA (AFP) May 25, 2005
European Union powers will give Tehran detailed proposals on settling the standoff over Iran's nuclear programme at the end of July, Britain's Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said after talks with Iran Wednesday.
"The European side said that it would take detailed proposals to Iran by the end of July or the beginning of August," Straw said after he and his counterparts from France and Germany met top Iranian nuclear negotiator Hassan Rowhani in Geneva. All rights reserved. © 2005 Agence France-Presse.
