Jerusalem, March 21 (AFP) Mar 21, 2026
Israeli firefighters reported a direct hit on a town in southern Israel on Saturday, causing extensive damage to several buildings, after the military had warned of an incoming missile attack from Iran.

"Further to the report of a hit in the city of Arad, this is a strike in the city centre between residential buildings," the service said in a statement, adding it was a "direct hit".

"Extensive damage was caused at the site."
