Emirates Global Aluminium said Friday it could take up to a year before it can resume full production, after its Abu Dhabi site was damaged by an Iranian missile attack."Early indications are that a complete restoration of primary aluminium production could take up to 12 months," EGA, one of the world's largest aluminium producers, said, after last week's attack on its Al-Taweelah site.
Iran has claimed responsibility for several attacks on smelters in the UAE and Bahrain since the war began on February 28, saying they play a role in supplying US military.
