L-3 Group Company Wins US Army HQ Communications Contract


New York (SPX) Aug 22, 2005
L-3 Communications has announced that its SYColeman Corporation (SYColeman) subsidiary, which is part of the company's Government Services Group, has been selected as a principal contractor on the U.S. Army Communications Support Contract.

This is a seven-year firm fixed contract in support of the U.S. Army Communications Enterprise, with a potential maximum value of $71 million. The contract calls for strategic communications support to the Headquarters Department of the Army Executive Office of the Headquarters and the Chief of Public Affairs.

"Our selection for this contract is both exciting and rewarding," said Jerry Bates, president of SYColeman.

"It allows us to provide critical services to the U.S. Army while expanding our strategic communications and public outreach capabilities. This win further solidifies the SYColeman corporate strategic vision, as well as our commitment to supporting our nation's armed forces."

SYColeman will provide management, communications analysis and planning, product development executive outreach and exhibit support.
