Three US Marines dead in Iraq helicopter crash: Pentagon
WASHINGTON (AFP) Mar 30, 2003 Three US marines were killed and at least one injured when a UH-1 Huey transport helicopter crashed in southern Iraq, the Pentagon announced Sunday.
The crash "looks like an accident," said Pentagon spokesman Lieutenant Colonel David Lapan.
Lapan said that of the four people aboard the helicopter, three were killed and one injured.
