DOHA (AFP) Mar 31, 2003 Baghdad was hit by a new wave of US-British bombing at around 1:00 pm (1000 GMT) Monday, Arabic news channel Al-Jazeera reported.
The television showed images of thick smoke rising from several points of the city.
The bombardment took place as Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri was giving a press conference in Baghdad.
