MOSCOW (AFP) Jul 14, 2003 A Russian military jet crashed late Monday in southern Russian during a training flight, killing both pilots, a spokesman for the air force quoted by Interfax said.
The plane crashed to earth not far from the Kushchevskaya aerodrome in the southern region of Krasnodar, the spokesman told the Russian news agency.
An investigation into the causes of the accident has begun.
