Sharon's military advisor Yoav Galant showed Bush documents and photos on Iran's alleged efforts to acquire the capability to enrich uranium to weapons grade, the radio station said on Wednesday.
Israeli Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz warned recently of the danger of Iran integrating a nuclear capability with its newly developed long-range missile technology after Tehran tested its new Shihab-3 surface-to-surface missile with a range of 1,300 kilometers (810 miles), well within striking distance of Israel.
"I believe that adding the ability of the Shihab-3 and of the other versions that the Iranians are developing, with their strong desire for non-conventional capability, in other words nuclear ability, is both a threat and a danger," said Mofaz.
Sharon also said Israel believed Iran is shipping weapons to the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah through Syria, and voiced Israeli concerns about camps for training Palestinian "terrorists" in Syria, the radio added.
At a press conference Tuesday Sharon praised Bush's warning last week that Syria and Iran were guilty of harboring terror suspects.
"It must be made clear to these countries that their evil deeds cannot continue. There can be no compromise with terror and evil," he said.
