CORRECTED: Burkina Faso releases 8 NGO members arrested for 'spying': NGO

Eight members of the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) have been freed by the Burkina Faso authorities after being arrested in October over accusations by the military junta of spying, INSO announced Friday.

"INSO welcomes the safe release of our colleagues, and appreciate the support that made this possible," the organisation said in a statement following the release of its staff, including three Europeans, adding that it remains "committed to supporting humanitarian organisations delivery aid safely to all those in need".
