The Israeli military said it struck around 100 Hezbollah sites across Lebanon on Wednesday, describing the operation as the "largest coordinated strike" since the war with Iran began."The IDF completed the largest coordinated strike targeting approximately 100 Hezbollah command centres and military sites" in Beirut, the Bekaa valley in eastern Lebanon and southern Lebanon, the military said.
"This is the largest strike carried out against Hezbollah infrastructure since the start of Operation Roaring Lion," it said, referring to its military campaign against Iran, which began on February 28.
Hezbollah entered the conflict on March 2.
The United States and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire on Wednesday, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the truce excluded his country's fight with Hezbollah.
Military chief Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir said Israel would "continue striking the Hezbollah terror organisation and will utilise every operational opportunity".
"We will not compromise the security of the residents of northern Israel. We will continue to strike with determination."
