ManTech International announced Monday that it has been awarded a contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, valued at $76 million, to provide training for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and other Department of Defense related systems. The competitively awarded contract has a five-year base period, with eight, six-month options, giving the program a total potential value of $76 million. ManTech will provide a wide range of training support functions that include developing and designing curriculum, creating systems operator and maintenance technical training, developing job analysis materials, updating Navy Training Systems Plans, conducting fleet training surveys and recommending technology solutions for training requirements. "Our training solutions group has considerable training expertise which they provide to the Army, Navy, IRS and many commercial clients," said Kenneth J. Farquhar, President, ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation. "Their extensive experience developing, delivering and managing complex training solutions and systems allow us to offer SPAWAR the opportunity to significantly expand their training capabilities while achieving cost savings and efficiencies." ManTech also provides training in information system security for a variety of organizations in the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community, and other training for the Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Air Force Air Combat Command, Defense Logistics Agency and the Defense Information Systems Agency.
