Anteon International announced Monday it has been awarded a contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center. The estimated value of this five-year contract, if all options are exercised, is $49.9 million. Under this contract, Anteon will provide installation and support services for shipboard physical security and shipboard security module systems aboard Military Sealift Command (MSC) and U.S. Navy ships worldwide. These anti-terrorism/force protection systems are just some of the measures being taken to provide protection for the ships, crews and cargo. Dan Johnson, Anteon Executive Vice President and COO stated, "Anteon is excited about this new contract, under which we are to install systems that will enhance the security of our MSC and U.S. Navy ships. We know that force protection is a top priority and we are here to provide this critical support." |
