The Allied Defense Group announces its Texas-based subsidiary, Titan Dynamics Systems, has received a series of orders totaling over $700 thousand, including orders from new military customers in Texas and Kentucky. The mix of products ordered includes Titan's new line of E-PYRO battlefield effects pyrotechnics, used for training U.S. military forces in defending against Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), such as those encountered in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as a variety of other training systems for aviation assets. Major General (Ret) John G. Meyer, the Allied Defense Group's Chief Executive Officer and President, said, "Titan is positioned to have a good year in 2005. After considerable time and effort, it appears that the Omega 36 will receive safety certification by both the Army and Navy in early 2005." "This safety certification is critical, as it indicates military acceptance of a product, and enables customers to purchase with confidence. We are particularly pleased with the growth potential for Titan based upon increasing demands for battlefield effects simulators required for U.S. military training." As the premier U.S.-based source for battlefield effects simulators, Titan provides training systems and support personnel to military customers worldwide and supports over 22 installations globally. |
