CompuDyne Announces $12 Million Of Awards For December
Annapolis MD (SPX) Jan 12, 2005
CompuDyne announced Tuesday that it had total net awards of $12.0 million during the month of December, 2004. New business, before a negative ($4.0) million adjustment to backlogs, was $16.0 million.

The Public Safety & Justice group received $6.5 million of awards. This includes four large software project awards including King County (Seattle), Washington.

Attack Protection had record awards of $9.1 million in December, most of which were announced in two press releases in December and early January. These awards bring Attack Protection's backlog to the highest level it has ever been.

In addition, three embassy projects are still pending awards, which is expected to occur in early 2005. The contract value of their security components is approximately $6.0 million.

In addition, the U.S. State Department has announced plans to award approximately eighteen more new embassy building projects during the second half of 2005.

These additional eighteen projects are estimated to incorporate in excess of $37 million of security windows and doors. Attack Protection is pursuing all of these projects.
