SpaceConnection And PSSI Announce Formation Of skIP Broadband

PSSI and SpaceConnection recently announced the formation of skIP Broadband, a communications solution company that specializes in providing dedicated phone lines, internet connectivity, and high-speed data and video streaming.

This new enterprise arranges instant telephony and data transfer services, using a transportable uplink or skIP Flyway package, from anywhere in the United States via satellite.

skIP Broadband combines the technical resources of PSSI with SpaceConnection's satellite expertise to bring a comprehensive, state-of-the-art digital communications system to broadcasters, corporate and governmental agencies.

The skIP Broadband control center is located at PSSI's teleport in Las Vegas. Brian Nelles, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations for PSSI, designed and manages the skIP Broadband facilities, while Michelle Patraw, Vice President of SpaceConnection, will be overseeing the Sales and Marketing aspects for this enterprise.
