UQM Supplies Propulsion Systems For Spinner Ground Combat Vehicles Frederick CO (SPX) Aug 13, 2004 UQM Technologies, a developer of alternative energy technologies, announced Thursday that it has received a $314,000 order for UQM high torque propulsion systems and generators that will power two additional "Spinner" hybrid electric unmanned ground combat vehicles being built by a team led by the National Robotics Engineering Consortium, a unit of Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute. U.S. Congress Awards Malden Mills Major Military Contracts for 2005 Lawrence MA (SPX) Aug 12, 2004 Malden Mills Industries Inc., makers of Polartec performance textiles, announced today that the United States Congress has approved $21 million for Polartec garments for the US Military in the 2005 Defense Spending Bill.
