BAE Systems reports it is to provide mission essential training and instruction support to National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency personnel.

Those who receive the training and support under the $43 million contract will be agency analysts and intelligence officers in the United States and abroad.

"Our seasoned experts have an outstanding reputation in the GEOINT community and they're backed by our company's trusted GEOINT analysis tradecraft and solutions that are integral to supporting NGA's daily operations."

Under the five-year deal, BAE Systems will provide training curriculum that includes more than 70 different courses -- from entry- through expert-level. The courses will be in areas such as imagery analysis, activity based analysis and human geography.

"These courses also provide context and background on different tools and sensors to help analysts expedite data collection, enrich their talents in processing intelligence, and enhance their skills in imagery collection management," BAE Systems said.
