The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency awarded General Dynamics with a $155 million contract to manage enterprise communications for combatant commands.

The contract, referred to as The Enterprise Communications Services 2, was awarded under the agency's Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise program, or E-SITE.

The program supports worldwide coverage of IT requirements and technical support services for the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Under the agreement, the company will manage and expand secure voice, video and data services used by commands and their subordinates. General Dynamics says the work will be performed in the Northern Capital Region.

"General Dynamics Information Technology will continue to provide exceptional mission and customer support to sustain and expand to the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System," General Dynamics' Bernie Guerry said in a press release. "We will continue to deliver critical intelligence capabilities to national decision makers and the warfighter."
